Tullibole Castle is a small 17th century tower house erected for the Halliday family on a site which may have been fortified in the 14th century. It is not open to the general public as it is (at the point of writing) available for hire as a venue as well as being a family home, but it might be possible to arrange visits through their website.

The lands of Tullibole and the older castle were the property of the Heron family of Glasclune from 1490, and were sold to the Hallidays in 1598 due to financial difficulty, and by 1608 the new castle was built. there is no evidence supporting suggestions that it was built in more than one phase. In 1705 it passed by marraige to the Moncrieffe family, who are still the owners, and it has remained in use apart from a brief period at the end of the 18th century.
